About Paint Protection Seattle
Short answer
This site is published by APC Auto Spa. It exists to give Seattle drivers honest, plain answers about paint protection film, including what it can't do. For pricing and booking, we send you to APC Auto Spa's own website.
Who we are
Heather Humphrey, co-owner: leads education, training, scheduling and the customer experience across both APC locations. She's often on-site, making sure customers understand their options and that every vehicle moves through the shop with care.
Seth Thomas, co-owner: focuses on technical standards, systems and long-term infrastructure, keeping processes and tooling consistent. He's also active in community events and industry gatherings.
APC Auto Spa started in 2015 because the protection Heather and Seth wanted for their own cars wasn't available in the Seattle area. APC has completed an estimated 13,000 services since then. Everything is installed in-house by trained technicians.
Why does this site exist?
People ask us the same good questions about paint protection film over and over: how long it lasts, which coverage they need, whether it will fix chips they already have, when they can wash the car. We wanted one place with honest answers, without a sales pitch on every line. That's why there are no prices or booking forms here.
Questions about ceramic coatings live on our sister site, Seattle Ceramic Coatings.
About APC Auto Spa
APC Auto Spa was established in 2015. APC Auto Spa is a certified installer for many leading brands, including Ceramic Pro and STEK. APC is a STEK certified installer, has installed STEK since STEK came to the US, and reports every PPF install to the vehicle's CARFAX history.
APC was a Ceramic Pro Elite Dealer and chose to leave, and chose not to pursue STEK Black Label, so we can pick the best product in each category. More on that in what installer titles mean.
